I took a segment of the sculpt and decided to paint over it in order to create an atmosphere, its 7am now and I need to sleep so i'll review when I wake up...

Alien Landscape Assignment (i)

Um... I didn't read the brief so this probably doesn't fill the requirements but I thought i'd have a warm up sculpting a lil environment from a plane.

3D Sculpting Lip Study (ii)

Another lip study, was more confident with defining the shape and looking at where the top lip and bottom lip merge into the rest of the face...

Next lip study = looking at where the seams of the lips meet in the corners and merge into the face!

Thought I would start a study on facial features I am not confident in off the top of my head so each day from now I will do relevant studies into these features until I can confidently sculpt a head/face without hindrance.

Um... He's got some hair now, might just F*** the ears to be honest... with a hat on this fart flannel had may as well not have any.

Who knows what im going to do with this now, I know one things for sure... its 2:55am and im going delusional.

Um... after about 100 different attempts to sketch something uninspired. I thought i'd sculpt a head instead as for my last brief I felt I didn't develop it enough and this way it takes study of 'wrinkles' into account. This is what I have sculpted from a sphere following references so far...

Yeah... so theres the base head of Santy Snouts... Operation : Add ears and hair is ago.

Generally not being fussed over christmas doesnt help me with enthusiasm towards creating something awesome relating to santa clause so I googled 'christmas icons' to give me a general variety of shapes to work with and hopefully something will come of them!
